What is the Sheakley Card?
The Sheakley Card is a MasterCard branded prepaid card. You can have your pay automatically deposited on your Sheakley Card every payday instead of receiving a paycheck.
How does the Sheakley Card work?
Your pay is automatically deposited to your Sheakley Card every payday. No need to visit a bank or cash a check to have access to your pay. You can withdrawal cash as you need it from your network of ATMs, or use anywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted.
Where can I use my Sheakley Card?
It can be used to make purchases at participating merchants that accept Debit MasterCard, get cash at ATMs, pay bills, and more. Unlike checking accounts with overdraft fees, the Sheakley Card is a prepaid account that allows cardholders to spend only the amount of money pre-deposited onto the card.
Are there any fees associated with the Sheakley Card?
This card has no monthly maintenance fee, no minimum balance, no overdraft fees, unlimited loads, unlimited transactions, free direct deposit, access to over 55,000 surcharge free ATMs, and free Internet banking with mobile alerts (See the Fee Schedule in the Cardholder Agreement).
How do I get an Sheakley Card?
If you are an employee, you can choose to have your wages deposited to the Sheakley Card. (Please contact your HR Representative for more information)
When making purchases, should I choose Debit or Credit?
When making purchases with your Debit MasterCard, be sure to select "CREDIT” and sign for every purchase in order to receive the benefits of the MasterCard Zero Liability Policy. If you need help, just ask the cashier "How can I sign for this?" — It's worth it!
When do I get my pay?
Your pay is not deposited to your Sheakley Card upon activation. Your pay is automatically deposited to your Sheakley Card on pay day. You may be notified when your pay has been deposited on your Sheakley Card by setting up to receive email and text messaging alerts online. (Note: Normal direct deposit process applies)
Can I get a personalized Sheakley Card?
Yes, call 1-866-825-9892 to order a personalized Sheakley Card. (Fee may apply. See the Fee Schedule in the Cardholder Agreement )
What happens if I lose my Sheakley Card?
To report a lost or stolen Sheakley Card, call 1-866-825-9892 immediately to freeze your Sheakley Card Account and order a new card, or go to the HR Department to get a replacement card.
What happens if I stop working here?
Your employer will deposit your last pay; however, the Account remains active and you can continue to use your Sheakley Card with other employers and load cash a participating reload locations once you complete the verification of your account. Please call 1-866-825-9892 to access this feature.
